Being a busy working mum, a foodie, I used to cook up healthy meals for my family , but when it came to my health, I just ignored it and many times, had an excuse at hand of not having enough time to follow a healthy lifestyle or exercise. But there came a point in my life when I saw myself in the mirror, and I was not at all happy with my body. I saw how my busy lifestyle, junk food, stress; carelessness had taken a toll on my body. I was keen on making healthy changes to my food habits, but kept on postponing the idea. Lady luck must have heard me, and one fine day I happened to check fb and I noticed how good my ex-colleague was looking. I saw her transformation. She looked great, healthy and super confident. I saw that she praised Eat Lovers and thanked them immensely for this positive change in her. However I too wanted to be healthy, look good, and lose some weight, so I enquired about her journey with EatwithSona and after listening to her and seeing the positive change in front of my eyes, I was very sure of joining EatwithSona and this time not for others, but for MYSELF, FOR MY HEALTH. 😊
The first phone call to Diya, my health advisor, sent such positive vibes to me that I was sure that I was putting my health in safe hands. We spoke about my lifestyle, my food habits etc and Diya did a great job of understanding my lifestyle and she provided very good suggestions and made me change my way of thinking about food, preparing and planning my meals. Being a hard core non – vegetarian, a fan of junk food, and with absolutely no control on portion size , it was very challenging for me , to follow the diet plans to the T, but I had to do it. I must admit, that I have cheated quite a few times with my meals, I hardly exercised, but later felt guilty too about not doing it. Switching to healthy food was not easy, because I was not used to eating healthy food like sprouts, greens, fibre rich foods on a daily basis. And not to miss the portion size. It had reduced drastically. I followed the meal plans week after week, and slowly and steadily, I saw and felt the change in me. I was happy with how it was going. I NEVER thought that I could lose weight by changing to a healthy diet and controlling portion size. People started noticing the change in me and I loved it 💞
Sona and Diya are extremely easy to open up your heart to 😘.Both of them are very approachable, very knowledgeable. Their diet plans are simple to follow and help is always at hand whenever a change is required. Sona has not only helped me by designing my meal plans accordingly, but also helped me with other tips and advice on any health concerns that I have. She gave me a lot of motivation and made me feel better. So you see it’s not just the physical body that is being taken care of, it’s your mind too. Your emotional wellbeing. Her Wats app dp status is something I look forward too and can relate too. It’s the best of the best. With every picture, that she uploads on her Wats app status related to health is very inspiring and motivating. Checking other EatLovers plates are very inspiring too. I really enjoyed my journey so far with EatwithSona . Sona and Diya managed to change my crash food habits to a healthy one, by setting up a strong baseline with good food preparations, and planning. Instead of them telling me what to do and what not to do , what we did was to look at my relationship with food in a different way using a few simple mind-set changes, which has been very effective. I now feel that I have a healthy system in place. I feel satisfied, my cravings for junk food diminished drastically, and I have a whole new healthy relationship with food. I am eating guilt – free and my energy level has also increased and I feel great. I am very Thankful to Sona and Diya for walking with me on my journey to good health. Cheers and God bless 🙏
